The Centre of Excellence in Financial Services is proud to announce the appointment of three new board members, bringing the total number of board members to six.
Leon Campher, the CEO of the Association for Savings and Investment in South Africa (ASISA), brings a wealth of knowledge in the insurance and pensions industry, having served this sector for 45 years. He is joined by Bert Chanetsa a former securities and capital markets regulator at the Financial Services Board who also served on the board of the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), and Mr Euvin Naidoo, the former head of Thomson Reuters financial institutions business, with experience in both US and African financial services.
We also wish to record our thanks to Arrie Rautenbach, who has resigned from the board to focus on his responsibilities at Absa Bank. As a founding board member, his support was invaluable.
